Have not played Heavy Rain, but from what I've heard from a few of my friends, it's a more polished version of a game called
Indigo Prophecy, which was made by the same people. I'd suggest you snag it from gamestop, amazon or XBL. It's only about ten bucks. That should give you a good idea.
