There is a container like they use on boats to carry stuff behind my house. One of those really thick steel containers. Stored shit in it for years with my problem. But the humidity got really bad here last two years. The thing was packed tight full of stuff. Everything was molded. You still about have to wear a breathing mask to walk into it, it's so strong.

I'm trying to salvage what I can. A lot of it I am having to throw out. But I want to save as much of it as possible.

There were only a few of the boxes that the rats and shit got in. That's the most difficult smell to get rid of. Rubber especially. It retains the odor extremely well.
