First of all, good for you. It's a good habit to get into and sometimes you'll find something really special. Second, there's a great omnibus edition of Carroll's work with the Tenniel illustrations. For me, using anybody else's art for Alice in Wonderland or Through the Looking Glass is akin to putting new art in a Dr. Seuss book, it simply shouldn't be done.
