Halloween remake was a lot better than the majority of the recent remakes (& the majority of the sequels). I really don't get the hate for it.... especially since the dumbed down
Dawn of the Dead remake gets so much praise.

The Ralph Bakshi stuff it was knocking off definitely had a lot more underlying themes to it. My major gripe was that it just wasn't very interesting compared to a lot of the animated stuff out there. I was honestly hoping for something like his animated segment in
Beavis & Butthead Do America.
