ahh well the age old story - budget cuts budget cuts budget cuts. i have spent the past two months trying to 'make myself indispensable' by getting in early and staying late (for free) but alas an e-mail this very early morning from my boss said they want to 'see me' . . .

in fairness things aren't that dire and to be honest i wasn't even posting to whine (though the sympathy is appreciated)

i was really just thinking - if all my ties were cut and i had virtually nothing where would i go? i have friends here who would put me up (and apparently a place overseas with V where I would be a GOD - very tempting!!) but i have to admit i had this odd thought that I might just show up at Rayne's house and somehow - even though i have never spoken to her directly and she's never seen my face - i imagined that they would just let me come in and stay. (probably Dustin would meet me with a shotgun - but somehow in my imagining of the HDC-family I imagine that Rayne's house would be a kind of refuge).

So, I was just wondering what other folks thought their 'last resort' would be? maybe moving in with family? living in their car? heading to V's house?
