I haven't seen SAW VI, so I didn't read that part of your post. Pandorum I did see and it reminds me of the following franchise:

Dead Space: Extraction (Wii video game prequel)

Dead Space (Comic prequel)

Dead Space: Downfall (Animated movie prequel)
