@Topic: My favourite slasher franchises are Friday the 13th, Halloween, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I like them almost all equally. Especially Friday the 13th and Halloween, if they ever decided on making a Michael vs. Jason movie, I'd totally see it in a heart-beat.
EDIT: Oh, I also forgot; I'm also really fascinated with the SAW franchise. I own SAW I - V; waiting for VI to come out soon!

You're missing the point of this thread. Please grade the current franchise only. Right now it's Scary Movie. There are plenty of other places on the forum to discuss which films you like or dislike.
