The Inglorious Bastards (1978). The loose fodder for Tarantino's latest, this version is just a blast of a war movie. The acting is solid, the dialogue great, the story playful. There is no lack of action, with guns a sprayin' and bodies a flyin'. The opening credits pretty much show ya what this movie is all about. All in all great guy fun. Ashe.
