Question Help me identify this movie

So, I recall this movie from when I was about 5 or so, so I'm estimating that this movie is from the 80s, possibly the late 70s? I only recall some scenes from the movie, though I was young so my recollection might not be accurate to the actual movie. Any help provided in order to help me find the title of this movie is greatly appreciated.

I remember that the movie involved a mother (she was older, seemingly in her 60s or possibly older), and her son. She became infected with something when an older gentlemen she went on a date with 'bit' her in an alleyway. After she was bit, I remember seeing her standing next to the gentleman that bit her, and she had all pointy teeth and possibly red eyes. Her son was also spying on her at this time, and saw what happened to her.

Another scene I recall is that she would eat people. Her son was trying to cover up the murders for her, so I remember him packing body parts into black garbage bags to dispose of.

Finally, I remember the end of the movie involved a fire that was in this woman's house. The son was trying to save her from the fire, though she was sitting on the floor of presumably the kitchen. She was saying that she was a monster and that she needed to die in the fire, so the son left her to burn in the house.

This is all I can recall from the movie, and some of it is definitely spotty. I've posted in other forums trying to find the title of this movie, though I haven't had much success. Someone once mentioned that it sounded like Flesh Eating Mothers, however I recently Netflixed that movie, and it wasn't the same movie that I'm talking about, though it's definitely an 80s b-rate.

Edit: My brother said that the title was something like 'My Mom is a Zombie,' though I haven't found any movies with this, or a similar, title. Also, I don't recall the woman decaying, or being 'brainless,' or any general 'zombie' qualities, so I'm not sure if this is accurate. However, I thought I would mention it in the chance that it rings a bell for someone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :) Thanks, everyone.
