Dude, if you want financial backing I'de suggest you formulate a business proposal, marketing outline, and a current list of investors with a full rundown of their contributions, be it financial or in materials.
...a project synopsis couldn't hurt either; EG: plot, shooting location, potential actors, etc.
Without this information, everyone will just assume you couldn't find your dick with both hands or a pot to piss in.
