I never really counted
2001 Maniacs as a remake. It was more of a sequel/homage to
2000 Maniacs to me.

Yeh? How come? I've always really liked that one and its good to see De Niro not playing a mafia dude for a change.
Cape Fear has always made me think Scorcese doing a straight up horror flick would be interesting.
