I Stand Alone (1998). "The story of a man like so many others, as common as can be. It starts off in France, shithole of cheese and Nazi lovers." The opposite of a Mary Poppins flick, this bleak flick oozes abject despondancy mixed with hateful philosophic rationalization. Not a movie for everybody, but for those with a strong stomach and a penchant for art mixed with nihilism, this is a must see. Be prepared for some Prozac washed down with a whiskey afterwards. Ashe.
