From what I can gather they're saving Carnage for the Venom spinoff.

I think it wouldn't kill them to have a few cameos or even mentions of other heroes. Where were the Fantastic Four when Spidey received his award? Just a little mention would be nice. I enjoyed seeing Tony Stark meet General Ross.

As for a villain, I think Mysterio would be a very good one. Hard to make a few of his tricks realistic but after Sandman, I don't think realism is an issue...
