@Nova have you tried yoga? Cause you wouldnt believe the strength I have gained just working with my own weight as resistance. I suggest taking a beginners class if you have it in town (know how you feel about small towns, we just got a yoga teacher in now and its at the library) but it will help you know if you have correct posture and then you can get a few dvd's and do it from your living room during the day.
