nice, i was extremely surprised by how good the first film is. I rented it and thought the absolute worst. Let's hope it's rated R like the first and maintains it's close ties to the games. I'd love to see a much grittier version though. The first film looked fantastic but silent hill always has that a grain effect in the games that really helps in making the experience unsettling.
