The first movie, while it was technically very good, completely botched almost every storyline the games had throughout them. I'm interested to see where this sequel will take the story after butchering it so badly. I hope I will be pleasantly surprised. I'm sure I'll enjoy it more if I can detach it from the games (1-3 at least) and their untouchable perfection.
