I second Ace in the Hole. It's far and away Wilder's most underrated film, and frankly one of his ultimate masterpieces.
The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie is one of the greatest satires (a jab to the upperclass) and one of my personal favorite films. Watch this one when you're feeling glum about your life, it'll cheer things up in a jiffy.
And finally, Godard's Contempt is about the strangest satire I can think of. It's strange because it works so well as a joke against the movies and against the human race that one might not even consider it satire. If you ever wanted to observe human beings as if you weren't one yourself- as a god, almost- this is a must see. Again, one of my personal favorites.
