The special features are great. Some in-depth interviews with appreciators of the film and people that worked on it, and a lot of digging-into the film, which is especially great with a work like Salo.

That's an amazing article! I didn't realize that Salo was so high-brow, I always heard it was smutty. I think I will have to see it now, at least for the Giotto references! :p
Also, I'd love to pick up the Criterion release of Joan of Arc, but I was really trying to limit myself. It hard because there are so many great releases that they have done.
My box from Barnes and Nobles arrived yesterday and I started with the Red Shoes and watch a bit this morning with breakfast. The cinematography is just amazing. I almost wish now that I picked up the Black Narcissus.
