Angra, I picked up P&P&Z, but have yet to read it. Worth it for novelty value alone, though. ;)
I would second the recommendations made above, and add
Patient Zero by Jonathan Maberry. Aptly described as a "neonoir-thriller" by one reviewer, it's a reality-grounded (kinda... :P) book about Islamist terrorists seeking to unleash a zombie virus on the US, with the covert aid of a billionaire pharmaceutical executive. It's bloody and tense, with just the right amount of black humor throughout.
