Hard not to enjoy this movie. Just a pure badass action movie from start to finish - over-the-top, intentionally campy and featuring some of the best action scenes quite possibly of all time. KILL BILL is my favourite film of all-time, easily... for many of the reasons you listed. It's also an incredibly personal film for Quentin Tarantino, and it's essentially a love-letter to his own mother, who raised him without anyone else to help. She gave up so much for him. Quite beautiful if you look past the hollywood glitz.
