Ah shit, someone is going to put in in one of their smarmy, "She made and a big deal about coming back." Actually, I just noticed this place looked cleaned up a bit. The excessive bullshit seems to have gravitated off.
Since you asked... I'm actually doing really well. I'm trying to get into Vet Tech school (hear that Hammerfan?). My goal is to work with wolves. I'll start by working with canis rufus (red wolf) which are seriously endangered. Then, as my body of experience grows I want to move out into the western US and really get to work with canis lupus (gray wolf).
I've gotten way involved in animal rights. I still eat meat (there's a spiritual thing going on here and it has to do with with Animal Spirits), but only if it comes from local or small independent farms. In essence I don't buy corporate factory farm meat. I believe humans are omnivorous, but I also believe that humans are animals just like pigs are animals. Fair is fair.
