(Continued...)
SCOUSE MAC heard the explosions far to his right. He was beginning to wonder who all were in the middle of the warzone there, when he suddenly sat down. PAUL THE MONK had come running from the left, and was looking over his shoulder again and again. Scouse smiled, and got his Grenade Launcher out.
THWUNK!
The grenade lobbed at Paul in realtime slow-motion, before exploding.
BAMMM!
Paul flew back in surprise. Scouse stood up with his Rocket Launcher.
HISSSSSSSSSS!
The rocket flew straight at Paul in mid-air, and hit him hard.
BAMMMMMMMMMM!!
Paul did a flip before coming down heavily near a big bunch of bushes, his whole back a big chunk of flesh and blood. He groaned loudly before reaching for his HPs, and Scouse licked his lips in grim satisfaction.
Someone came through the bushes on the right, and Scouse turned around in fear. He thought it was the Predator, but instead found himself face to face with CHRONOGRL, who smiled back at him.
Scouse kept a straight face. "Paul," he muttered the name slowly and jerked his head towards the left, indicating the direction where Paul had flown through. Chrono merely nodded, and moved forward. Paul had patched himself and was lying on his back, fighting the pain. Chrono lifted her Rocket Launcher, and fired.
HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
The rocket hit the ground on Paul's left.
BAMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!
The explosion almost tore Paul apart into two. His wounds deepend and he rolled over behind the bushes, wincing. Chrono lifted her Grenade Launcher and moved forward, her facial features hardened. But when she reached behind the big clump of bushes, Paul had disappeared.
Chrono looked around quickly and spotted something behind the trees near the river bank. She lifted the grenade launcher and let it fly towards the distance.
THWUNK!!
The grenade lobbed on the floor once, and exploded.
BAMMM!
BWIND22 fell back from the impact, stunned. He landed squarely on the river, where the current dragged him forward. Chrono smiled in satisfaction.
