Blood Moon - Probably a bit hard to find, it's an Australian slasher film, but yeah, definately and deliberately fits the description you're after.
Another fun/stupid Aussie slasher (guest starring mollie ?ringwald?) was "CUT" it's actually kind've interesting but yeah totally on the "bad" side. Probably not THAT hard to find.
