I agree - Stevan Mena's film is a nice horror flick. He has a prequel to MALEVOLENCE titled BEREAVEMENT scheduled for release this year. The music for MALEVOLENCE is very thematic and has some really great suspense tracks. There is also sound design that is very effectively used to create a very unsettling atmosphere during key scenes in the film.
