I haven't watched Making Contact since I was very young, but I remember being fascinated by it. The ventriloquist dummy horrified me, and the movie captivated me.
Unfortunately, it seems to have fallen under the radar. I've been meaning to watch it again, but I'm still scarred from my second viewing of Krull a few years ago. As some people like to put it, I'm most likely unconsciously avoiding the 'raping of my childhood.'
