DEMON SEED lay down on the ground and looked around. Just then, he heard footsteps and whispering over to his left, and immediately got up and ran towards the sounds. PAPILLON NOIR and NIGHTMARE OF DEATH were standing, looking around them fearfully. DS lifted his Machine Gun, and took a big stride forward.

Nightmare heard him. She dived into the bushes on her left without thinking. Noir was caught napping. She looked confusedly at Nightmare diving for an instant, then whirled around at DS.

"JUMPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!" a voice boomed at her from the right.

BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!!
BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!!

The bullets blasted into Noir's chest and tummy in several places, opening up plenty of small, charred holes which bled almost instantly. Just then, Scouse Mac limped through the trees making a beeline for her, and was instantly by her side. He pulled out plenty of HPs from his HP bag and started to patch Noir quickly and efficiently. Noir was saved, albeit at the last instant, by the very timely appearance of Scouse. Noir took a deep breath before groaning loudly once, and looked through slitted eyes at her saviour. Her brains processed a final thought of thanks for Scouse, before blacking out into unconsciousness.

DS thumped his Machine Gun in frustration. He was so intent on looking at Noir and Scouse that he failed to notice the red dots which had centered on his chest.

THRACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!

The full impact of the plasma beam caught DS by surprise. But he was lucky. He had taken a step backwards by the moment the beam was fired, and so the beam tore through his left thigh and left it a smoking, charred burning mess of flesh. He roared in pain as he fell down, grabbing at his HPs. Scouse looked at him and looked back at the trees. An almost invisible, cloaked figure swung from the high branches to another tree and was soon out of sight.


ROSHIQ licked his lips and smiled wickedly. DANTE'S INFERNO was sitting across him at the base of a tree, picking up a NIN cd which he had dropped. Dante looked up, checking the trees nearby. He never knew when the bullets arrived.

BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!!
BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!!

The bullets blasted Dante's chest and tummy apart. Two of them ripped into his right shoulder also, as Dante rolled back and let out a loud moan of pain. Dante grabbed a bunch of HPs and treated himself in a frenzy, as the deadly trio of red dots circled on Roshiq's chest from somewhere above the trees.

THRACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!

The plasma beam ripped into Roshiq's side, nearly tearing him into two pieces. Sizzling and burning flesh seared into Roshiq's nerves, and all his pain centres lit up. Roshiq let out a loud yell of pain and fell down. One of his going-weak hands reached for his HPs and he looked up at the Predator with tears of pain in his eyes. The Predator's eyes blazed for an instant and disappeared, and his near-invisible shape swung out of the trees.
