GOREPHOBIA heard the leaves on the forest floor rustle on his left. He quickly motioned to PAPILLON NOIR to be quiet, and moved forward cautiously. He stopped when he saw a figure dragging itself towards the trees, and was delighted in recognising him.

NEVERENDING! Now's my chance! Gore thought happily. Noir moved silently to his side, and watched the spectacle ahead too.

Both of them grabbed at their Launchers, and aimed at NE. NE was bleeding profusely, on the verge of collapsing. Even if he heard the rockets, he didnt do anything to delay the inevitable.

HISSS!! HISSS!! HISSS!!

BOOM!! BOOM!! BOOM!!

THREE rockets exploded right beside NE, and his right arm and leg were torn clean off his body. His chest burst open into a huge torrent of thick, red blood and broken ribs and bones, as his brains frantically tried to scramble all the intense blinding pain sensations which wracked through it. NE's eyes widened for an instant, as his body hit the ground heavily, then rolled over. His brains were covered in bright light for an instant, before slowly shutting down into darkness.

DIABLO SLAYER NEVERENDING IS DEAD!!!!!



Both Gore and Noir let out loud whooping cries of delight and high fived each other. But, unknown to both of them, a pair of intense, brooding green eyes blazed at them from the top of a tree for an instant, and then disappeared.


THRACKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!


Gore never had a chance. The plasma beam came hurtling through the trees and blasted through his chest, leaving a big, yawning hole in it which sizzled with burning flesh. Gore opened his mouth wide, and slumped to the ground quietly.


CARNAGE KNIGHT GOREPHOBIA IS DEAD!!!!!


Noir whirled. She saw the big man fall from the corner of her eyes, and followed the beam upwards. A trio of red dots fell across her body, and she felt a sudden surge of sheer fear shake her body.


THRACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!


Noir swerved at the last moment. The plasma beam caught her right on her shoulder as she fell on one side. Her left shoulder was almost torn clean off her body, as she let out a loud groan and grabbed at her HPs. 15 of them saved her, as the Predator moved out from the tree.


FREAK stood on one side, listening to the forest sounds. He had followed some footprints to this spot, and they had disappeared. He looked around carefully and spotted nothing the first time. The second time, he noticed the bushes parted on his left, and moved forward.

I almost didnt see this hidden cave, he thought. Standing on the left, he could barely make out a figure in the shadows inside the cave. Taking no chances, he lifted his Launcher and aimed.

HISSS!!! HISSS!!!

Both rockets burned the air in their instantenous journey into the cave. Just a moment before they exploded, Freak saw the face of his enemy.

BOOM!! BOOM!!

DUDE GUADALUPE flew backwards. Both rockets had blown the floor in front of him and he fell heavily on the floor. He quickly grabbed at his HPs, just as a trio of red dots zoomed in on Freak's back.


THRACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!


Freak yelped in pain and roared. The plasma beam had ripped his right thigh apart. Luckily for him, he had taken a step forward to look at Dude the moment the Predator had fired, so he took the blow on his thigh. Freak fell heavily in front of the cave, and reached for his HPs. The eyes on top of the tree glowed for an instant, and then disappeared.
