I'll give it a grade of C.

You get good marks for managing to tell a story with a beginning, middle & end.
You get poor marks for the handheld cam work. Seriously- all this does is lump you with every other amateur who buys a video cam and calls himself a filmmaker without having any training or skill. Invest $50 in a tripod and learn how to shoot continuity and edit it together. The quality of your product will leap exponentially.
Every ambient sound is much louder than the dialogue- exactly opposite from what should be. Very simple to fix in post production.
Serious continuity problem with the whole Marley scene. Who is he? What does he have to do with the story?

Not the worst amateur short I've seen posted here, but not by any means the best either.
