I've said this to people before and I'll say it to you: read the genre. Machen, Poe, Bradbury, Mc Cammon, Lovecraft, King, Le Fanu, Barker. The work doesn't look like you're very informed about the genre or you've read enough. The stories dangle and don't have a satisfactory jump or strong characters. In fact, they don't make a whole lot of sense. Read more, join a writing group, a good one, not just a bunch of uninformed 17 year olds writing Sonic the Hedgehog fan fic. Zoetrope Virtual Studio is a good one.
www.zoetrope.com. These guys hit hard and fast and to get work posted, you have to read work, which puts you in contact with more short fiction. You're miles away from being ready for publication, but when people do the work, what comes out is often nothing like what came in, so surprise yourself. These are much better angles than soliciting comments with a public blog.
