YOUR "slippery slope" argument stinks.

Oldboy and Lady Vengeance have classic gothic horror themes that make the movie more than just another Asian action flick. Note that I haven't included "Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance" here. The line that I am drawing is that Oldboy and Lady Vengeance both include intense horror themes that challenge the audience's perception. "Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance" is more of a pulp action drama.

They're not just action - There's more going on that follows classic horror themes.
