If I see the seeds have already been planted and they say they really enjoyed "X horror movie", then I will always offer up recommendations, though. That's what it's really all about, though. The seeds have to be there for me to even bother....and frankly I just don't meet many people on a day to day basis that are worth even trying to recommend great movies to.

You just need to try to introduce them to new movies by using their foreign titles. They'll love it.
