IMO this is one film that should never be made- but then, so was I, Robot. Asimov's stories- particularly Foundation- are extremely complex, full of sweeping landscapes, ideas upon ideas upon ideas... not particularly plot driven.
They're going to have to do so much condensation, compilation, simplification... that it won't really be Asimov any more.
