I weighed 420 and am now down to 373. I am still a big dude but it helps being 6'4 and being proportioned. I still need to lose a lot of weight but I am trying my hardest even though having Sciatica doesn't help at all.

Jon, I have sciatica problems too, from injuring it while in the USAF. I've found through the years (I've been dealing with it for over 20) that yoga and stretching really help. Taking off the weight will help, too. I've noticed since I've gained so much weight that my sciatic has been acting up. You also need to pay attention to the weight of things you lift. Don't go going He-Man thinking you can lift all this weight - you can't now. Heat helps, too. If you don't have a heating pad or hot water bottle, invest in one.
