Just read this...
I loved the stargate movie, never really got into SG1 but was loaned the first series of ATLANTIS a while back, it was not a bad hopping on point at all, and I quite enjoyed this show.
A lot feels unresolved but at least the last episode felt like it could be a last episode, although a lot is left unresolved.
...Supposedly there's a third series potential starring members of both casts here'n there, and there's a 2-hour ATLANTIS movie planned...I can hope we'll see at least one of these things.
