Well, yah- since, as you say, WB cartoons have been around since the 1930s, I remember them.
Unlike Disney, they took the route of making their cartoons interesting to adults as well as children. Bugs, Daffy, Porky, Foghorn Leghorn, Sylvester and a host of other characters were far more realized as characters than Mickey, Donald, Goofy and the gang ever were.
WB also turned out some of the raciest cartoons of the era- and at times some of the most racist. You don't see those around any more.
