Thank you guys/gals for the kind words.
So, a bit of an update...things seem to be weirdly encouraging right now.
I was talking to someone from the RSPCA about job applications, and training alongside them...etc...got into a bit of a conversation about I guess the things I find important and why I want to do this - and I actually got invited to apply for a job there already.
So I wrote the cover letter and sent in my resume.
Hell, I have no experience at this time and in all honesty I don't think I'll get it this soon, but I had to try...pretty cool the opportunity was given to me at such an early stage.
In regards to the college, I was going to go for "cert 2 in animal studies". I had a late application, but went to speak to the head teachers there about this, and my intended plans...and straight up, the guy invited me to enrol in cert 3 off the bat instead, which incorporates some elements of cert 2, and then some more.
Odd, but I'll take it.
So yep, wheels are actually turnin'
