Buck up man, I know you're hurting now, but it will get better. I recently ended (well it was this last summer) a 12 year long relationship. I LOVE being on my own. It gets easier as you get older. When I was younger I always wanted someone around, now I love just having the unconditional love of my dog, and my friends and family. Do NOT let anyone make you feel bad about yourself. God knows I struggle with that all the time. But if at the end of the day, if you know you've done the best you can,fuck what other people think. You'll find someone again, and in the mean time, spend some time getting to know yourself better. And being by yourself ain't all that bad. No one to nag you. I know the stereotype is that women are the naggers, but my ex, and I still tease him about this, so does one of his other best friends, can out-nag ANY woman any day.
Time does heal, but it takes time.
