That being said, never before have I wanted to shoot a child in the face more than I have while watching this film. I HATE child actors. I HATE pandering scripts for "children's movies." And I HATE interesting stories that should have made fun films.

needless to say i watch a ton of kids films - so i'm always praying for something i'll actually enjoy.
i didnt mind this one because i did enjoy the visuals, but ill admit that i found the kid weak (and weird looking)
loved those toad monsters though.
with the success of Harry Potter - every single decent selling kids novel is being optioned. we're going to see a lot more of these..
