Friday night I watched
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
I don't know... Admittedly, I was kinda trashed, but, well, the movie just didn't really DO it for me. It had some parts that made me smile (all of the fake songs from "We've Got To Do Something" to "Inside Of You" to "Dracula's Lament" and especially the parody of CSI with Stephen Baldwin doing a fantastic David Caruso impression were all HILARIOUS), Paul Rudd was his usual AMAZING self and Mila Kunis is ridiculously smoking hot... But I felt as though, as a whole it was kinda weak. I don't know. The BIG JOKE seemed to be that the main male character (Jason Segel) was just pathetic (naked, crying, blathering...)... I think that some people find it funny. I just find it... meh.

Am I MISSING something here? Did other people find these films amazingly funny?? I've heard that these movies were pretty fucking hilarious... But I just felt...
meh with some occasional smiles and nods. Bored. Disassociated.
I don't know. It's been a really shitty week and particularly a shitty day... I was kinda expecting these movies to really lift my spirits. Maybe I just had too high hopes. That or maybe I don't feel feelings. meh.
