Heights is probably my achille's heel. It used to be spiders, but I somehow managed to push past that one. Bree is horribly arachnophobic, but she does everything she can to not make an issue in front of Lily because most phobias are learned, not inherent. Lily isnt afraid of anything really, and we hope to keep it that way.
My niece used to not be afraid of anythign, then my stupid sister, against my suggestion, started freaking when a bee or wasp would get near. Whithin a week, my niece would start crying and screaming if eve a fly got too near.
Suppress your fears around you kids, people. Break the cycle. Bugs and spiders need to be respected, not feared.
On the heights thing, its especially bad with games. the under-bridge portion of half-life 2 actually triggers a more real fear response in me than Ravenholm. Which brings me to a very real and completely retarded fear of mine:
Zombies. Not voodoo-drug uinduced real life zombies, but GA Romero, hordes of canniballistic dead peopel zombies. Its not as bad as it used to be, but i used to wake up from nightmares (as an adult) and be terrified to look out the window because i expected to see dead people wandering around.
