The Losers

Stomp the Yard director Sylvain White has been hired to direct the big screen version of the DC-Vertigo comic book The Losers.
According to Variety, the project is now set-up at Dark Castle Entertainment.
James Vanderbilt penned the screenplay adaptation. Dark Castle's Joel Silver will produce along with Weed Road's Akiva Goldsman and Kerry Foster.
Hancock's Peter Berg was previously attached to direct.
The Losers began as a 1970s war comic before being retooled for the 21st century. The movie will reportedly follow a special ops team that go in search of revenge after they are betrayed and left for dead.
