This is a great movie! Detailing the Sex Pistols rise to fame and their only American tour. Rare footage of Sid and Nancy interviewed in a hotel bed that is HARROWING- as good as the movie Sid and Nancy is, it just can't compare to seeing the real thing.

I'll second the recommendations on Suburbia- really amazing movie directed by Penelope Spheeris.

Likewise Liquid Sky is a GREAT movie- dunno if I'd call it punk though- it's kind of new wavey sci-fi.

And Up in Smoke? That's a HIPPIE movie! It's Cheech & Chong!
