I'll jump in...
If they're into Saw, why not show 'em CUBE which is a more sci-fi film, but similar in a lot of respects.
If you're going for WEIRD try sitting through "tetsuo: iron man"
The Blob, usually a crowd pleaser.
I'd also try to pick up one called "crawlspace", interesting.
Event Horizon - peeps are pretty much 50/50 on this scifi horror. I loved it personally.
Original house of wax (there's actually a double pack out containing this film and the 1930's flick this one was based on) this is simply one of the best "classic" horror films I've ever seen.
UZUMAKI - not all that many mainstream post-90's horror "enthusiasts" will have seen it, and it's really quite good.
Jacobs Ladder? - this one's probably on your list anyways...
