I had a problem this Halloween and I was wondering if anyone else experienced something similar? I have a bunch of friends that aren't dedicated horror fans (unlike myself) and aren't as open to dated, cheesy special effects and storylines. They're not particularly into slashers and would like to see something more in the "supernatural" genre. The biggest problem is that because I'm a horror-freak myself, I've played most of the best movies in my collection throughout the year so by the time Halloween rolled around... I was out of good ones to play.

I would really appreciate some help from serious horror fans that aren't just gonna tell me to play Saw for them. I'm looking for something more... in the supernatural, ghostly, creepy field but would appreciate a list of ANY movies that you guys found absolutely terrifying or bone-chillingly creepy. I'm open to all suggestions and would appreciate if no one judged each other's suggestions. Let's try to make this list as long as possible. I'm really curious to see what you guys come up with. I'm looking to build my collection up for next year. Thanks everyone!!!
