What Toe Tag flick was it? August Underground is average as fuck (overhyped Blair Witch syndrome with a dash of Snuff) but I dug Mordum, Penance and The Redsin Tower a lot. One of the few independent studios really making an impact on the genre. I check out a bunch of SOV/barebones horror flicks and their shit is consistently a step above everyone else.
Mulholland Dr was pretty dull to me. Mediocrity sold to us under a quality brand name. Something I'll revisit at some stage to see if I dig it because everything he did up in till then really kicked my ass and maybe I didn't get it at the time (but I hate all the shtik with a "Lynch" flick).
