My due date was October 31st, yup Halloween, how COOL would that have been?...However, my mother didn't think it was quite so 'cool'...The thought of delivering a baby on Halloween really freaked her out...She was afraid that I would somehow turn out to be evil or something (She's a wee bit superstitious, HER mother was VERY superstitious), and the whole thing just made her really uncomfortable, she described it as a "bad sense of forboding"...I call it silliness

So, anyway...She was taking a very common drug at the time, that keeps babies from being born prematurely (because she had started having contractions at 7 months...HEY, I've ALWAYS been impatient!)...I forgot what it was called but it's an acronym comprised of 3 letters...Weelllll...One week before the due date, she stopped taking the drug...Went into labor that morning and I was born just after noon...Exactly one week before Halloween
