Why the butchery?
I have a guestion that's been bugging me for a while. In this age of unrated director cut's and deleted scenes restored, why would a video company take a perfectly good example of R-rated Italian gangster splat like The Valachi Papers, cut it up and reissue it as a PG-rated movie? Restoring lost footage is laudable but intentionally losing it defies rational thought. Why the butchery? Any ideas?
