NE - These are AMAZING. I'm fascinated by his work - I'm going to have to delve deeper because I want to know more about his technique.
"Apocalypse Du Ballet" reminds me a LOT of Blake's prints in Songs of Innocence and Songs of Experience. I'd be surprised if Blake didn't take some inspiration here.
I also see inspiration for Dali and the artwork in Alice in Wonderland.
It's clear too that Grandville was inspired by Hieronymus Bosch - I love the twisted animorphs especially.
