***ANNOUNCEMENT***

We will have our official Sneak Peek at HDC Awards 2008 on Saturday night, before the big event (either Sunday or Monday).

As of right now, the standings are well-spread. We have plenty of leaders who have shot to a huge lead, and some very interesting and keenly-contested tussles, and some ties too.

I hope to get at least 5 more entries through this week, if not more.



Here's how the Awards stand right now :-

1 - Most Relevant Poster - The leader has a HUGE lead over the second-lead, but stranger things have happened before.

2 - Most Irrelevant Poster - stands at a TIE. Plenty of contenders and its a very closely contested battle.

3 - Most Outstanding New Member - Looks like a BIG one-horse race.

4 - Funniest Member - Check #1 above, and strangely, the leader here has almost NO competition! :confused:

5 - Best Signature - A leader has emerged, and holds on to their slender lead. Plenty of contenders here too.

6 - Best Avatar - same as above.

7 - Biggest Post Whore - Plenty of contenders here too, and popular ones at that. A leader leads the brat pack, but only by the merest of margins.

8 - Most Missed Member - Most of you can make a safe guess who this is, although there are others far, FAR behind.

9 - Most Absent Member - Again, plenty of contenders. But the leader is seemingly ahead of the rest. Keep guessing...

10 - Best Topic Starter - The leader is in such a huge, WHOPPING lead that it isnt funny. Also, the least number of nominations so far - only 3.

11 - Most Knowledgeable in Horror Films - Surprise, surprise...a surprise leader! And no, it isn't your first guess, or your second...;)

12 - Best Horror Movie Recommender - stands at a TIE. Plenty of contenders below, but this is a cliffhanger.

13 - Biggest Troublemaker - Very close race. A leader is present, but holds on to a very, VERY slender lead over several others breathing down their necks...

14 - Biggest Site Whore - Has a leader who doesn't seem to let go easily, anytime soon.

15 - Best Newbie Welcome-Wagon - again, a SURPRISE leader! Keep guessing for this one...

16 - Weirdest Member - Again, plenty of contenders, but its safe to assume who is leading the pack in this one.

17 - Member With Best Potential - Again, opinions are divided in this one. Although, 2 contenders are fast pursuing the leader.

18 - Best Thread of HDC in 2007-08 - Need I mention the leading thread in this one? :cool:
