so on Saturday - while waiting to get into the theatre to see Spamalot - I popped into a discount book store next door to kill some time - and i found a book : There and Back Again : an actors Tale - by Sean Austin.
I wasn't expecting much but i thought the guy was cool - i'll check it out.
I'm only in 100 pages or so and i have to say already - it's one of the best - if not the best - book i've read about the business of film. (and we havent even gotten into the Lord of the Rings stuff yet.

He's al;ways struck me as someone who has his shit together. He apparently took the Samwise roll epretty seriously, to the point that he kept an eye on Eliga Wood the whole time they were filming.
Amazing, too for a guy who's parents were both celebrities themselves.
